Privacy policy

This policy explains how NYRION (Pvt) Ltd ("we") handles personal data on https://travelinsl.online. We are the controller of the data described here under the Sri Lanka Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022 (PDPA). Where visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland are concerned, we also follow the consent requirements that apply to them.
Summary
- You can read the whole site without giving us any personal information.
- Analytics and advertising cookies are only used as allowed by your choices in the cookie banner.
- The contact and event forms do not send anything to our website. They open WhatsApp with your message written, and it reaches us only if you press send.
- Event organizers' WhatsApp details are used only to verify and discuss their event, and the chat is deleted 90 days after the event ends.
- "Near me" on the events pages uses your location only inside your browser. It is never sent to us or to anyone else.

We never sell personal data, and we never send names, email addresses or form contents to analytics.
Who processes data for us
- Google (Analytics and AdSense), including its advertising partners, under Google's own terms and the consent choices you make.
- Cloudflare (hosting, content delivery, Web Analytics).
- WhatsApp (Meta), which carries the messages you choose to send us, under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy.
Some of these providers process data outside Sri Lanka, including in the United States and the European Union. They do so under their published data protection terms.
Your choices and rights
You can change or withdraw your cookie choices at any time using the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page. Under the PDPA you can ask us to give you access to the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop processing it, and you can withdraw consent. Send your request through our contact form and we will reply within the time the law requires. You can also complain to the Data Protection Authority of Sri Lanka.
Children
The site is not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and show the date of the change at the top.
